Can I reschedule within 5 business days of my appointment?
If you need to reschedule your HealthScreen appointment and have fewer than 5 business days remaining before your scheduled date, it is important to understand how our policy applies.
What happens if I reschedule with less than 5 business days' notice? Under HealthScreen's rescheduling policy, a request to reschedule with fewer than 5 business days' notice is treated as a cancellation. This means your $750 deposit is non-refundable in this circumstance.
Why does this policy exist? HealthScreen assessments involve coordinated clinical resources — including physicians, imaging specialists, and diagnostic facilities — all scheduled specifically around your appointment. Short-notice changes affect multiple parts of that coordination, which is why the 5 business day threshold applies.
What should I do if my circumstances are exceptional? We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you are facing a genuine emergency or medical circumstance that has prevented you from providing adequate notice, please contact our team as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee an exception, we will always do our best to work with you appropriately.
How do I let you know? Please contact us as early as possible — even if you are within the 5 business day window:
- Phone: 1300 03 1300
- Email: admin@healthscreen.com.au
The sooner we hear from you, the more options we may have available. Our team is here to help find the best path forward wherever possible.
