Yes. Fasting is required before your HealthScreen assessment. It helps to ensure your results are as accurate as possible.
How long do I need to fast? You are required to fast from midnight, the night before your appointment. This means no food, juice, milk, other caloric beverages or coffee during this period. The fasting window is primarily required for the accuracy of your blood biomarker results.
What can I have during the fasting period? Water it is encouraged. Staying well hydrated before your assessment actually makes the blood draw easier and helps ensure you feel well throughout your day.
Are there any exceptions? If you have a medical condition that makes fasting difficult or inadvisable please let our team know when booking.
