Who reviews and signs off on my results?
At HealthScreen, your results are never processed in isolation or reviewed by a single generalist. Each component of your assessment is interpreted by the most appropriate qualified specialist — and all findings are consolidated and reviewed by your treating HealthScreen physician before being discussed with you.
Imaging — MRI, CT, and Ultrasound All medical imaging, including MRI sequences, CT coronary calcium scoring, carotid Doppler ultrasound, and thyroid ultrasound, is interpreted by consultant radiologists who are Fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR). These are among the most highly credentialled imaging specialists in Australia, and all reports are produced domestically — not processed offshore.
Blood biomarkers and pathology All biomarker testing is conducted through accredited Australian laboratory partners. Results are reviewed by laboratory specialists and returned with formal pathology reports, which your HealthScreen physician then interprets in the context of your complete health picture.
ECG and cardiac assessment ECG results are reviewed and formally reported by a cardiologist. This adds a layer of specialist cardiac expertise that goes beyond what a GP assessment typically provides.
Genetic, microbiome, and biological age testing Where included in your program, genomic, microbiome, and biological age testing is processed through certified specialist laboratory partners and returned as formal reports for physician review.
Your treating HealthScreen physician All specialist reports are consolidated and reviewed by your treating HealthScreen physician — a qualified Australian doctor who knows your medical history, risk profile, and goals. Your physician's role is to bring every finding together into a single, coherent, personalised clinical picture and explain it to you in plain language.
This multi-specialist model means that every component of your HealthScreen assessment is reviewed by the right expert — not passed through a single checkpoint and delivered as a raw data report.
