Will my GP receive a copy of my report?

HealthScreen strongly encourages patients to share their results with their regular GP, and we are able to facilitate this upon your request.

Can HealthScreen send my results to my GP?

Yes. If you would like a copy of your clinical report forwarded to your regular GP or any other treating doctor, the easiest way to arrange this is to indicate it on your patient information form prior to your appointment. This allows our team to prepare and send your report promptly following your assessment without any further action required from you.

If you did not include this on your form, or if you decide later that you would like your GP to receive a copy, simply contact our team at any time and we will arrange for your report to be sent to your nominated practitioner.

Why is this important?

Your HealthScreen assessment is designed to complement, not replace, your ongoing relationship with your GP. Sharing your results means your regular doctor has access to a detailed clinical picture of your health that they can factor into your ongoing care, referrals, and health management. Many patients find that their HealthScreen report becomes one of the most useful documents their GP has ever received about their long-term health.

It also ensures continuity of care — particularly if any findings from your assessment have implications for medications you are currently taking, conditions your GP is managing, or specialist referrals that may be required.

How do I arrange this?

The preferred way is to indicate your request on your patient information form before your appointment. If you have already had your assessment or would like to arrange this afterwards, contact our team directly:

What if I do not have a regular GP?

If you do not currently have a GP and your HealthScreen results identify findings that require ongoing management or monitoring, our team can assist you in finding an appropriate practitioner and ensuring a clear referral pathway is established.
